Welcome to the AECyTA website.
Research in aerosol science and technology (solid or liquid particles suspended in a gas) covers aspects ranging from basic physicochemical properties (particle dynamics in gases, nucleation, condensation, and coagulation processes, chemical synthesis, and chemical characterization of aerosols) to studies on the composition and size distribution of atmospheric aerosols (both natural and anthropogenic for analysis of atmospheric processes and environmental pollution) and the consideration of their effects on Earth’s energy balance.
These are just some of the interests of the Spanish Association for Aerosol Science and Technology (AECyTA, Asociación Española de Ciencia y Tecnología de Aerosoles).
From the top menu, you can access more information about AECyTA, such as news, its history and basis, the associated research groups, or past scientific meetings and conferences.
